Ankur Vora

Ankur Vora is a Global Portfolio Manager overseeing CIFF’s nutrition portfolio. The primary goal of programs in this portfolio is to reduce maternal and child morbidity and mortality due to under-nutrition in high burden countries across the world. His current focus is to partner with Global Alliance For Improved Nutrition (GAIN), one of our largest grantees, to ensure that programs deliver on their promised impacts. Prior to joining CIFF, Ankur was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he focused on healthcare and social impact projects. He led BCG’s effort in partnership with United Nations World Food Program and Indian Government to strengthen India’s food subsidy delivery system (TPDS). Before that Ankur was a lecturer in the Economics department of the University of Chicago. He has also worked briefly at Goldman Sachs and the Industrial Development Bank of India. Ankur has a PhD in Economics from University of Chicago along with a Masters in Economics and a Bachelors in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
