Augustin Flory serves as Director, Investments. His primary responsibilities are to oversee the development process for new investments and work with the Executive Director, Investments, on defining investment strategies, developing partnerships and enhancing CIFF granting policies and processes. Prior to joining CIFF, Augustin worked for five years at the African Development Bank where he held a number of positions in the legal, resource mobilization and operations departments. Earlier, Augustin consulted for the International Energy Agency (IEA) and was an Attorney for seven years at Gide Loyrette Nouel Law Firm, specializing in foreign direct investment in China, project finance and privatizations. Augustin holds a Bachelor of Law from King’s College, London, a Masters of Law from the University of Paris I, and a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York City.
