Leila Davids is Performance Measurement and Effectiveness Analyst, based in London. Prior to joining CIFF, Leila worked at the NSPCC evaluating Childline and national child protection programmes; and at the Arts Council England monitoring and evaluating the regularly funded portfolio of 870 organisations receiving in total about £350million per annum. Her work in South Africa included managing outcomes based evaluations in education, early childhood development, HIV/Aids, and child survival. At the Children’s Institute (the leader in child policy research and advocacy in South Africa), Leila helped establish Children Count, an interactive child-centred statistics and indicator database. Leila holds a Masters in Research Psychology (with Monitoring & Evaluation and Statistics) and a BSocSci (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Cape Town; and has served as a Board member for the Magnet Theatre Trust.
