Tomo Hamakawa

Tomo Hamakawa is a Performance Measurement and Effectiveness Manager based in London. He moved to London after working in the Delhi office for two years. Tomo has worked for international and local development NGOs across Asia and Africa. Prior to joining CIFF, he worked for the Bridge Fund in Tibet developing performance measurement and building the capacity of local staff. At UNICEF India, he was part of a research team that conducted a study on nutrition, immunisation, and caste-based discrimination in the state of Jharkand, India. Tomo has a BA in Social Anthropology from Harvard College, a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, and was a fellow in the Asia Pacific Leadership Program at the East-West Centre.
