| Goal | HIV-infected and affected children in Kenya are provided with the requisite medical, psychosocial, educational and nutritional support by their caregivers.
| | Approach | Leveraging a proven model, CIFF is helping to expand a muti-sectoral caregiver support programme for HIV-affected and infected households which provides:
- support for preschool and pharmacy fees
- access to support groups for caregivers
- funding for income generating activities, including kitchen gardens
- extensive home visits from community mentors trained in health, nutrition, psychosocial care, HIV prevention and legal needs of affected families.
