Heiner Baumann

Heiner Baumann is the Executive Director, Grants at CIFF. Prior to joining the foundation, he was a partner at New Profit, where he managed international investments and partnerships, overseeing all of New Profit’s investment selection and serving as the organization’s Chief Knowledge Officer. Prior to joining New Profit, Heiner was a Senior Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company, where he supported a broad range of clients and helped build McKinsey’s nonprofit practice. He was recruited into McKinsey out of his role as President of AIESEC Switzerland, an international youth organization. Heiner received a Master’s degree in applied economics and organizational behavior from the University of Zurich and a Master in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. He served on the Boards of Directors of KickStart, Friends of the Children-Boston and the Swiss Society of Boston.
