Gerry EliasGerry Elias is a member of the CIFF UK Board of Trustees. He has more than 15 years' experience in international business, during which time he has provided strategic advice to governments, multinational corporations and organisations. Gerry is a former Managing Director and Partner of CNC, a global management consultancy firm specialising in communications and advising Fortune 500 business and political leaders. Prior to this, Gerry was a Director at Burson-Marsteller in New York, Sao Paulo and Seoul, where he focused on international markets and economic resources issues and was special advisor to the government of Korea during the Asian financial crisis. He also served as a Vice President at the World's largest OTC exchange for downstream and midstream energy products. Gerry is a partner at BRIC Ventures, an Executive Director of KoryoAsia the exclusive investment advisor to Chosun Development & Investment Fund LLP and a Founder of "Understanding" - a vehicle to enhance awareness and promote greater understanding of under-represented humanitarian and environmental issues. Elias is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. |
